This research is the first and largest aromatherapy research in Hong Kong! The research sites are the day care centers and nursing homes under the Po Leung Kuk . At the same time, it is the largest number of participants in the current aromatherapy research in Hong Kong .
During the study, regular care was provided to the participants for 16 consecutive weeks, with aromatherapy care provided twice a week, for a total of 32 times .
President of the International Aromatherapy Holistic Care Association, Yuan-Ying Chen, was appointed as the "Aromatherapy Consultant" by the Po Leung Kuk. She participated in the entire "Aromatherapy for the Elderly Empirical Research" project from planning, design, practice to publication.
