About the Society
International Federation of Holistic Aromatherapy is a school accredited by the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) in the UK and the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists (NAHA) in the United States.
Founded in 2017 by Jessica Chan.
• Jessica is an IFA Registered Principal Tutor P/399 and a NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Therapist
(Level 3 NAHA Certified Clinical Aromatherapist), has over 30 years of professional aromatherapy teaching experience.
• The society offers various internationally accredited aromatherapy-related courses, including: UK IFA Aromatherapy Therapist Course, UK PEOT Essential Oil Therapist Advanced Diploma Course, UK IFA Aroma Touch Aromatherapy Care Course, US NAHA Certified Aromatherapist Beginner (Level 1) and Advanced (Level 2) Courses, DIY Professional Skin Care Products Preparation Course and Fun Workshops, etc.
• Based on professional sincerity, positive physical practice and social attitude, actively improve the public's awareness and technical level of aromatherapy
• Dedicated to promoting professional and correct aromatherapy teaching, assisting business opportunities and employment development • Graduates of advanced courses can apply to become members of the association to keep updated and maintain close contact • Assist major institutions to develop aromatherapy services, provide professional consulting services, and promote aromatherapy knowledge and training
Mission
The International Federation of Holistic Aromatherapy (IFHA) has a good mission and purpose, aiming to provide the society with "professional" aromatherapy teaching, consulting and professional services. IFHA "sincerely" contributes to social welfare and strives to become a responsible organization. It is committed to providing "innovative" activities for all levels of society in terms of teaching and academic development, and shouldering responsibilities to the public and society. Have a professional aromatherapy "team" and give full play to professional advantages! The association will go all out to achieve the following objectives:

President's words
Chan Yuen Ying, President of the International Federation of Holistic Aromatherapy, a pioneer in Hong Kong's aromatherapy industry and the first accredited Chief Instructor registered with the International Federation of Aromatherapists. She also serves as an Industry and Subject Expert for the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications under the Hong Kong SAR Government, as well as a member of the Industry Training Advisory Committees for the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework and the Vocational Training Council.
For over 30 years, she has been dedicated to aromatherapy education, collaborating closely with various government training bodies and higher education institutions. Currently, she teaches professional aromatherapy courses at the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education, Li Ka Shing School of Professional and Continuing Education at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Macau University of Science and Technology School of Continuing Studies, and Po Leung Kuk, among others.
The International Aromatherapy Holistic Care Institute is an accredited Hong Kong branch of the International Federation of Aromatherapists. The institute brings together a team of internationally certified aromatherapy caregivers, aromatherapists, nursing professionals, and complementary therapy practitioners. Upholding the principles of "Professionalism, Sincere Care, and Giving Back to Society," the institute actively promotes public awareness and technical standards in aromatherapy, advocates for correct and professional aromatherapy education, supports career development, and advances aromatherapy services.
Chan Yuen Ying has ensured the passing down of professional aromatherapy knowledge and has tirelessly championed aromatherapy elderly care, taking on this significant and enduring mission.
In 2018, President Chan, in collaboration with the International Federation of Aromatherapists, industry leaders, and charitable organizations, organized the "Largest Aromatherapy Massage for the Elderly" event in Hong Kong, successfully earning a Guinness World Records title. The event gathered 300 aromatherapy experts from around the world to provide professional aromatherapy massages for the elderly—a heartwarming, fragrant, and record-breaking charitable endeavor. Chan Yuen Ying officially set a new milestone for "Aromatherapy Elderly Care"!
Passionate about academic research, President Chan serves as an Aromatherapy Research Consultant for Po Leung Kuk, laying a strong scientific foundation for evidence-based aromatherapy. Witnessing the scientifically validated efficacy of the non-pharmacological treatment—aromatherapy—in elderly and social welfare contexts, she looks forward to its broader application and promotion across all sectors in the future.
